and man does it sound good. I just went with the simple swap out as we really do not know how long we will be keeping this boat. Already looking for the next craft so I did not want to dump a lot of $$$$ into this setup.

I should have taken pictures...but let me tell you that FW made it almost impossible to replace the back speakers. They were screwed in from the back which leaves no room to work at all. I also ended up having to cut some of the Starboard to make the new Polks fit. But now it looks good and sounds even better. Now to use it while the boat is in the water would be even better.

Kewl, glad you got everything installed. Hope to hear the system on the water in the next few weeks.

Considering some speakers myself for the cockpit. JL Audio is out, too pricey for what you get. Polk DB651's are high on the list, but these Infinity 612M's are very tempting. Specs are quite similar to the Polk's, and better than the JL's. A little pricier than the Polks (now $61.55 per pair) at $89.00 per pair, but I like the look and added power handling.

What head unit did you go with?
