Hey lads! hope all is well! Does any of ya have taken apart the instrument console on a v458. I do have some issues with the radar power feeding cable and cannot see how in heavens to have access to the two Raymarine E120´s backyard without major surgery. Any hints will be greatly appreciated. So long! B

Thinking you may be the only member on here with a V458. You might want to call Four Winns customer service with your issue, they can get some answers for you I would think.

Welcome Barclay - It's great to have a V458 owner finally on this board!
Your starting point is to remove the plastic faceplates of the units. Once they are off, you will see the screws that secure the units to the dash. Once these screws are removed the units will slide right out.
Because there is not much surface space on the lower portion of the 458 helm to lay the displays down while you dig around behind the dash, I would suggest you try taking them out one at a time and having someone with you to hold them in a towel while you work. Alternatively, you can simply disconnect and remove the units and set them elsewhere. Just take care when removing the faceplates as they can crack easily if not removed properly. Your Raymarine manual describes the proper method.

I hope that helps and we hope you'll join in on the fun here on the forum!

Which one? I'm sure you got it figured out by now. Try to get some pics of her up her when you get a chance! We need a 458 thread!
