Hello all...well after reading the many rave reviews on the Polk DB651's on this forum, I've taken the plunge and ordered 4 of them to replace the 4 on my H250. Obviously the rear speakers can be accessed from beneath the bench cushions...but I don't see any way of getting behind the 2 speakers in the bow? My question(s): Are the front speakers removed (and new Polks installed) solely via the front, so no need to get behind there to tighten any nuts, etc? Also, anything else I should be aware of? I noticed that some people said the connectors were of a different size (my stock speakers are the Clarions)...so I should just get some female spade connectors from Radio Shack or something? Thanks very much in advance for any help!! |

Yes, there should be no reason to access from behind. Simply remove clarions (the grills can be a difficult to pop off sometimes) and assuming the same size, plug and play. Not sure about the terminal size difference if any on the two sets of speaks. |
