I bit the bullet. I had my local stereo shop out early yesterday morning to go over what I wanted to do. They did my last boat and did an excellent job so it was a no brainer to seek their expertise again.

So, here is what we came up with:

3 x Kenwood 10" subwoofers. Two in the port side lounger and one in the captains seat console.
6 x Polk Audio DB 651 mids. One in each factory lower arch position. One below the throttle/shift controls and the match in the port side lounger. There are two facing being installed facing back on the transom on each side of the locker.
All of this is powered by two Treo amplifiers.
Kenwood KDC-X595 head unit and 2 remotes. One remote at the helm, the other on the lower starboard transom, close to the boarding ladder. They (3 installers) worked for about 4 hours yesterday and plan to finish today.

Pics to come soon. Right now, it just looks like a bunch of holes.

Looking forward to some pictures. I've thought about rear facing speakers but wasn't sure how they would look.

I stopped by the boat last night to check out what they did. I didnt get any pictures, but I will tomorrow.

It rocks! I am very happy with the outcome. I didnt have them replace the cabin speakers as I will do that myself...I ran up a big enough bill with the stereo shop.

Dallas, that's sweet! Thanks for the pics, I was wondering how the transom would be and I think it looks great. Hope it sounds 10 times as good!

We are very happy with the way it sounds in and out of the boat.
