Sorry for double posting but I figured this would be a better spot for this post. So I have a Horizon 190 and I am having a difficult time hearing my music up front when cruising. I have 4 speakers in the back as long with a amp and sub. I am looking to add some speakers up front somewhere but not exactly sure where. Any ideas of any sort would be awesome.

Actually, once I added a 3rd set of speakers in the rear, I found I can keep the volume lower so that everyone on board can still hear the tunes.

In response to the original question, I would suggest just using the location where the factory would install the front speakers. That is, unless you already have the factory speakers installed and you are looking to have 2 pairs up front. If that is the case, that may be a little overkill for such a small space.

Berger do the rear set of speakers fill the cabin pretty good? Can anyone but the front passengers hear the ones up front? I don't want to blast the lake but I'd like to hear my tunes a bit. I have two up under the dash but can't hear them very well.

Yes they do. Whenever there was anyone sitting in the two captain's seats, their legs totally blocked the sound to anyone in the back. Adding the two extra Polk's in the rear totally eliminated that problem. The front speakers now no longer need to be turned up so loud to compensate for the "blocked" helm speakers.

i'm only running 4 speakers... two under the seats in the rear, and 2 on the side of the consoles facing eachother.

Never a complaint from a passenger, and everyone can hear... dont have to worry about legs or body's blocking the sound.

My only complaint is a need for more bass... just trying to figure out where to put a sub

not sure how to upload a pic here... but basically the two of them are in the walk through area on the way to the bow
