New to forum. I have an 08 H220. I have the stock Sony radio/cd/sat stereo. Can anyone give me advise on how to run power to stereo without have to leave the key on in the "on" position. I would like to use on of the spare acc. Buttons on dash to run power to stereo when boat is not running.

Wire from accs. switch to battery (with in-line fuse of course). Wire from switch to head unit I suppose.

Turn the key to the left. Thats works for me on my 242

Welcome.

Blue dragon is correct. Turning the key to the left is the "accessory" position. Is there a particular reason you don't want to do that?

By the way, does your screen name stand for Mason Ohio?

It works on my 08 220 also I make sure to only leave the radio running on one battery while on the sandbar just in case.
