I think you took it the wrong way.. decent as in modern and stylish. They always looked very basic but now look at em, freaking beautiful boats on a world class level. Brunswick isn't stupid. They're not going to get rid of em. The name is going to South America, the boats are staying here with a raised price tag with a Sea Ray badge. The only physical boats that are going to stop production in the USA are the current Sundancers that are the same size as their Bayliner counterparts that will be taking their place.

It will suspend the brand’s cruiser sales and production outside of South America. <-- clip from the Brunswick announcement.

The CSR guys are saddened about the job loss. Not so much about B-liner cruisers not being sold in the US. As usual there, they beef more about how all this is our current president's fault, and how a "new leader" will make everything right. Yeah.... Right..... Typical Sea Ray owners, living in a dream.

They might have a point. In the last 4 years, we have witnessed a significant decline in the middle class who were the primary purchasers of entry level cruisers. Now, the so called "middle class" is buying bowriders and the rich are purchasing yachts 35' and up. Stage I of Socialism (elimination of the middle class) is almost complete. I guess we will have to wait until November to see if it progresses.
