Tried to go to Cottonwood Cove on Lake Mojave this weekend for the first time...look at the results:

No we never actually made it in the water, lake was too rough for the family. So we sat in the cabin eating lunch in the parking lot waiting for the weather to pass (it didn't) when the park rangers pulled a car over for speeding right beside us.




The flashing lights in the cabin were hilarious. Hard to capture in a photo.

That is funny having lunch while someone gets a fat ticket. Better luck next time getting her on the water. When I can't go out I chalk it up to it wasn't meant to be.

That's a drag....

I was out camping on Mohave last weekend, out of Cottonwood cove. It was a mixed bag for conditions, but overall it was pretty nice. This time of year it get's dicey out there.
