hello,

i just made the purchase of a 238 vista. i began asking questions & the PO. hands me the manual & says you'll have to read the book. if the boat wasn't such a deal i would have walked away. so i am kind of wondering what is the routine. what one does each time you are back for the weekend? i store the boat w in/out service & won't be using the boat much this season, maybe every other weekend.

ie: cover off ,check bilge, vent engine, batteries on 1 for starting, 2 for running frig, both for charging both batteries?

& what about the frig. seems like it would draw the most power. how do you handle that at anchor?

thanks,

zif

Does your dock have electricity? If so... your boat "should" have a shore power plug something like this below and if you just have a standard 110v outlet on the dock you can get an adapter so you can plug it into a standard extension cord.

Welcome and congrats.
I run my fridge all day and it doesnt even come close to killing my two house batteries. I turn the fridge down to 3.5 when im on the battery power. I trailer my boat so when its. In my driveway its plugged in so fridge is running on the ac power and my batteries are kept charged.
Will your boat be plugged in when its stacked
