:D WE were up to 77F today!

I almost wished the Horizon wasn't Winterized!

It would have made a great day on the Lake!

Was tempted myself..... can drain fluids and rewinterize in about an hour. Very temping indeed, the wind would have been brutle though, took the 'Bird (MC) out - was getting blown all over the highway.

Update...
Machine oil was very costly, so I did the Red-Necks/Next-Best thing....... Cooking Oil! It took 938 gal of used cooking oil. The Best part.....McDonalds didn't charge me a thing to take all that off thier hands! This is great. I buy a new boat, and get Free Oil to fill it so it doesn't get water, and rust. Life couldn't be any better!!!!

Jeez i must be wicked smart since I filled mine already, hey did you guys remember to grease the kanifler pin on the muffler bearings? Once they go bad You you can't keep the blinker fluid level normal.....

I bought one of those oil bath hub systems (the kind where you have to cut a groove in your spindles) and modified it to fit my blinker fluid reservoir. One of my winter projects will be to extend this system to maintain my muffler fluid. Now I'm living the good life because I no longer worry about my kanifler pin.

I'm also livin' the good life because...

Paul, I think you owe us all for this.

Compy-Lube is innovative, progressive, and undeniably workable. I'll not have anyone casting it in a negative light.

I haven't been on my boat since Labor Day. Stuff kept coming up throughout the fall. I had planned on wakeboarding into November in my wetsuit, but instead I had to put her to sleep at the beginning of that month. Threads like this are all I will have until late April-when I can hit the water again.

The only disappointing thing about this thread was that I couldn't get anyone to call me an idiot before they realized I was joking. Back to the drawing board.... I'll be lurking.

To stay connected to summer - camp - and the boat, I've been fixing the camps single pane windows. It goes like this.....

Remove glass, break every third one, remove glazing compound, skin knuckles, swear, adjust heater since legs are on fire but the rest of me is freezing, torch, scrape, cough, think to self I should be wearing a mask and not breathing this stuff, keep scraping, get tissue remove lead paint chip from eye, think to myself I should be wearing glasses, adjust heater, finish scraping, prime window, wait to dry, apply new glazing, insert points to hold window, adjust heater, swear because i just broke the glass (every forth or fifth one), apply glazing, steady, steady, okay nice bevel, continue, mess up at least one bevel side, swear, touch up, swear convince self noone will see it once its painted.

Repeat.
