Hey all, I have a question, I have a fellow co worker that stated that you can pull a skier without having a spotter here in ohio , as long as you have a wide angle rear view mirror. I believe this is incorrect, however I may be wrong. I looked it up and can only find that you must have a spotter atleast the age of 12( I believe). Any one know for sure on the rear view mirror? thanks

We always use a spotter! (Always will also) :D

The vessel operator shall observe the traffic pattern. No person shall permit operation of a vessel in violation of this section.


You should really pick up a copy and read it. I keep a copy on the boat also.

Oh I read it but this guy was stating that it has changed and it was legal for you to not have a spotter. I disagreed. I read the exact statement you posted . Thanks :D

Joet. what part of Ohio are you in. Where do you boat?

I am west of Cleveland in Lorain County. My boat is rack stored between Lorain and Vermilion on Lake Erie.
