I the bigger question that no one has asked! When was the last time the fluids were checked? And how many hours was that in between?
I do that all the time, but only put 3 or 4 hours between checking.
Well, I did all this 3 weeks ago:
1. Took out the rear bench seat to get full access to the engine.
2. Removed raw water pump, and rebuilt it with new SST bearing and seal.
3. Change the Circulating pump because it is 13 years old.
4. Replaced the Manifolds and Risers.
5. Changed the spark plugs.
6. Changed Engine Oil & Filter
7. Changed Fuel Filter and inspected for water (none).
8. Changed Drive and checked for water (none).
9. Checked Trim and PS fluid levels
10. Replaced V-belts
11. Cleaned bilge.
12. Install new Polk Audio speakers in the aft side panels.
13. Re-installed rear bench seat.
2 weeks ago I put 7 hours on the engine, and checked fluids / leaks several times.
