Alright thanks. How worried should I be about it's condition. The boat shifts great

When your boat was just serviced, they should've removed the outdrive to inspect it's condition (as well as re-grease splines/ uni joints).
Did they not do this?

The boat just got a full inspection bow to stern and the oils changed, I'm sure they would have done it the inspection papers say there was no issues what so ever

Chris, if the boat shifts and operates well then you should be OK. But look closely at the black coating on the first picture of the cable in the side of the outdrive. Is that black outer covering split and showing some rust, or am I seeing something else there? If the outer cover is split it may not cause any issues at least for a while. If it does start to get stiff or harder to shift, you may need a new cable.

Congrats on the boat, and welcome to the site. If you have not seen it yet, The Four Winns factory web site has a lot of info, including specifications, online parts manual, and operator's manual. I find it to be very informative. Have fun with the boat, we sure did with ours.
