Just had some work done on my boat and i thought there was always a beep from the engine before i started it. Now theres no beep , is there supposed to be a beep or 2 before you start a fuel injected boat??

I have a vdo dash and it beeps once after ignition is on

I remember on my 2000 248 there were always 2 beeps when the ignition was turned on

Thats what i thought 2 beeps then start the boat, now i need to figure out what they did to make this stop, iam worried about finding it

Location: Southern ohio
Its the round black kinda tube shaped box at the left rear of the engine on top. If you were looking toward back of boat. Has holes in it like a speaker. Check the wires to it.
