Extra power is always nice, but you have to be smart about the conditions, always. I would love to have more power for quicker acceleration on plane and more relaxed cruising rpms, not to do things that are unwise judging by conditions.
I have the 2 Jeeps, one is a 4.0 six (185 hp) the other has a Hemi (330 hp) I don't drive the Hemi like a madman simply because it has more power. Road conditions, water conditions, its all the same thing...

as a buddy brought up a good point. if its not fix don't break it. plus the more i think about the hull and what the actual hull can hold i do not thing the 454 will be worth my effort. lots of good points and thought were developed here that i was looking for. and at the end of the day i think i always knew that this was not the right hull to hot rod. non the less it is still a fun discussion
