I know this is an old post, but I'm looking to do this same upgrade ~ rear seat addition to my 2002 Funship and hoping you guys are still active on this forum.

A question for those who have chartered these waters...does your original snap on tonneau cover still work? I see the seat back sticks up 3-4" above the old storage locker height. wondering if I will have to invest in a new cover as well?

now that you've had the seat in play for the past 3+ years...was it worth it?

I'm also a little worried that parts may be short on supply for this now that they have quit making our model...don't know if any recent conversions have been done?

Unfortunately, the 2 guys that I know of that did the upgrade haven't been here on the board for at least a year...

But, hopefully they or someone else who has done it will chime in!!
