Man I can't tell you how great your life just got. As you can see from some of the other pics I've posted my little guy is now 2 1/2 and as much as you hear it I'll say again. It goes WAY to fast. It is the most fun I've ever had or ever will. (and I've done some fun stuff)

Not to turn this away from a boating page but buy this book today.

http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Health ... 029/?itm=1

It's called Healthy Sleep Habits, happy child. My wife and I both read this book when our son was born. We were very careful to follow what the guy was saying about timing and when they need sleep. At four months our boy went to bed at 7pm and woke up most mornings between 7 and 8. 12 hours a nite was normal plus two, two hour naps during the day at a minimum. When he was awake he was happy and was hardly ever sick. It was the greatest thing in the world.

Now at 2 1/2 he still gets 10 to 12 hours a night and is just the happiest little boy in the world. That sleep means everything for both him and especially your wife.

Congrats and enjoy.

Your friends are right about the growing up fast. My youngest turns 6 this Sunday.

DONT SELL A BOAT B/C YOU HAVE A NEW BABY!

I did this, & it took 6 years to replace.

Congratulations, Bill!

Best wishes for a healthy future.

Just bring the car-seat onto the boat (but don't strap him into it while running....), lots of good infant life preservers available too.

We had our little guy out on the boat yesterday. Chris (my wife) was below in the cabin with him. She said his eyes GOT REALLY WIDE when the engines started, and again when I throttled them up to get on plane. But otherwise he sat back and enjoyed the ride. Took a ride across the Bay for lunch and he had no troubles at all. Looks like we've got ourselves another boater here!
