Wow the wife is willing to go out in this colder weather? you are lucky.

The inlet between Patience Island and Prudence Island is a great place to anchor and relax even if it is a rough day. Another good spot to anchor is to the west of a one house island to the north of Jamestown Bridge. i know that it isn’t very detailed directions but take a look at a map and you will see the inlet directly to the west of the closest island north of the bridge. It is a great spot. If you are going to go out to eat in Newport, the Brickalle pub is great. Pulling up at Jamestown harbor for the day is also fun. If the surf is reasonable a trip around the southern tip of Jamestown (Beavertail) is a site. As you know keep your GPS on for the rocks wherever you go. enjoy!
