Hey that's great! Blow that crap off the water so you can boat sooner. Seriously though, glad there doesn't seem to be damage to homes.

Not here yet... High of 40 yesterday, low of 34 this morning. Mountain passes are still regularly closed for avalanche clearing. BTW, the lake I boat in is down 14 feet (typical for this lake) but my slip draws only 10 so I am currently 4 feet hgih and dry. But by early June I will have the boat in (sometimes even as early Memorial Day).

In our area, the "party" starts on Memorial Weekend and runs until Labor Day weekend.

For the real boaters, we typically get out early to mid April and boat till October. Then, all you see is cruisers out with all their canvas in place. I envy those folks.

I truly "dream" of being able to meet my family at the slip after a long week and hitting the water and not touching land until Sunday evening.

Man I hate to wait almost another two months though! Guess I'm just more excited about this season as we bought the new boat late last season and only got out about three times before putting it away for the winter. Plus with our new baby coming in late August our season will get cut short this year.

More snow today. It blew through pretty fast and is heading east for all of you to enjoy.

It is supposed to be 17 tonight and 58 tomorrow.
