I have never even activated my free trial of Sirius and probably wont bother. I work at an Acura dealer and I get free XM in my company demo. I hardly even listen to it in the car. I typically use my iPod in the car probably about 75% of the time. In the boat, we listen to the iPod about 95% of the time.

Before winter, we just used the aux input. Now that we have the actual Sony interface in there, it seems like a pain in the neck because you cant scroll through the songs like you normally would (unless I am doing something stupid?). I may end up just going back to the aux input if I dont get this figured out.

I don't know about the sony interface, but that's typical for many ipod "interfaces". They're usually pretty terrible. You get next to no free control over the device. Nothing like the way the clickwheel lets you move around. The old clarion interface is horrible too (haven't seen the latest version that's built-into the head unit).

Boat FM radio (all I have. 1994 Weather/FM radio, too cheap to buy another radio) In the cars it is between FM and Ipod. I voted Ipod though. because in the truck it is Mainly Ipod.
