We are still looking around at possibly getting a different boat with a cuddie. Anyone ever ride in a Baja Boss 232? Just wondering how they handle rough water? Found a really clean low hour 2002, but trying to do some research before I pursue it.

Have not been on a 232. But, I have been on this Boss 302.

This was taken at our marina as "Baja Bill" was taking the girls out for a high speed birthday ride. This boat is 75+mph, and handles the rough stuff very well. It rides on top of 3 to 4 footers and just handles great. This particular boat turns so nice, and just digs in. He put a
Boss 272 sticker on the side, so he pays less as a transient than if it said Boss 302.
This boat has twin 7.4MPI, and the Boss272 only has a single.

You might try asking this question here:

Or search for feedback about the 232 if you did not want to sign up.

I have been looking on that site, but not a whole lot yet.

I dont like Baja's in the first place, but I really dont like the smaller Bajas. The HX, 232 and 25&26 outlaws ride like a hay wagon. Jusy my opinion. Only Baja I would ever own (if given to me) would be the 33 outlaw. Bayliner of performance boats.

Find a nice, used Donzi ZX line. They are popular in the poker-run crowd in the Seattle area. They handle the saltwater chop quite well...

Ran into a guy with a ZX22 and a 502 big block... you sure knew when he opened it up!

I know the Donzi's are a nicer boat, but also out of our price range!! Baja's are very popular in this area and having a dealer for them a mile from my house doesn't hurt.

This particular one is sold... but I think they could be found in your price range...

Having a dealer close by definitely helps...

Best of luck! Just shooting out options...

That cussie sure looks cramped though? Not much to it. Nice boat otherwise.
