Does anyone have any experience on Lake Pend Oreille in Idaho? I would love to hear them. I'm considering taking the family down for a holiday. We are coming from northen Alberta so, its a along drive to be disapointed. About 12 hours, not including the border crossing. We're thinking of Bottle Bay Resort.

I took a Maxum SC2300 cuddy cabin to Pend Oreille Lake (I can never make my fingers type the name correctly) a few years ago and had a great time. The water was clear and warm in early August. Pay attention to the afternoon winds as they can kick up some choppy conditions.

On the same trip, we went to Coeur d'Alene lake which was noticably busier with much more chop from wakes, etc.

The overall area is wooded and quite pretty.
