I do use Facebook and find it a great way for people to stay involed with one aother instead of drifting apart. As far as breaking up marriges and causing divorse, If Facebook could do that, you should not have been married to begin with. I also think that it may be generational as well. Older folks just do not like new things like that. I is definatley not used as an ego booster for mself. I a not quite sure how that could be an ego booster, but thats just my opinion on it

+1 as another who doesn't use Facebook. Everyone in my family but me seems to have one. They all assume that being an engineer that I'd be all over it. I can't explain why I don't use it but never had the desire.

I use FB.

Having grown up overseas, it has been great for reconnecting with old pals. I'm not expecting it to break up my marriage, although my wife give me grief about spending time there (she has an account also, however).

Myspace, however....wannabe porn stars and musicians....

I am on it too. I have reconnected with a lot of people, some I am glad to see again and some I am not so glad to see again  I do get tired of the folks that philosophize/pontificate or change their status everytime they go to the bathroom. The worst are the "needies" who comment on everyone elses posts about going to the bathroom. Also it is a good way to keep track of what my kids are up to. I have also found that once the novelty wears off people go there less often...

If you have kids, you must have your thumb on the pulse of technology!
Ya, I got an account for that reason, don't do much else except mafia wars.

Todd...good to see you around. You sell the boat yet?

Yo Steve -

Awaiting funds now - buyer in Australia working through a Four Winns dealer in California - supposed to be shipping out in 2 weeks. We'll see if it comes to fruition - if so, I might buy my old Chaparral back from the guy I sold it to.
