Just wondering if anyone else made it to McCormick Place this weekend? Glad to see FW had a booth and foot traffic was good. In this day and age, I think more people talk about who is not at a show rather than who was there. (Sea Ray, etc) The show was tiny this year, about half of last year's. Last year was smaller than the year before. A sign of the times?

We were there on Saturday for a couple of hours...found it MUCH smaller than last year (and that was MUCH smaller than the year before. Unfortunately, it seems to be a sign of the times...

Seemed the organizers were paying by the square foot as boats appeared to be piled on top of each other...

Four Winns had a nice display...GSC really equips their boats nicely...

Went on Saturday and browsed around for a while...it didn't take nearly as long and wasn't really worth the 1.5 hour drive from Milwaukee.

We went on Wednesday. Hard to imagine a show that so many manufacturers were not in attendance. Would think as bad as the economy is there would have been some deals - prices seemed really high instead.

We went on Saturday. Not to impressed, but quite a bit bigger show than what we have in Indy. A local Sea Ray dealer is having a show this weekend with food, I will most likely attend and ask my friend how his sales have been since he took over as a Sea Ray dealer.

Curious what you thought about the all new chap 310 Signature. It's a near clone of Cincy's 290DA, which you were quite impressed with.

Its keeping in line with the new naming game. They had it next to a '09 310, and it was quite a bit smaller. Interior seemed decent. I have yet to step foot on a 318 though.

The 2010 310 is a totally new hull design from the waterline up, has a hard top, all new cabin design (similar to the the 290DA), "pickle fork" bow, which is unlike the 09' 310 Sig. The 2010 is based on the proven 290 hull below the waterline, which is a different hull from the 09' 310. Some of the design aspects of the 2010 are receiving new patents. One dissapointment in my view, is that the largest engine package available in the 2010, are 5.0L twins. 10,600 lb boat I would like 5.7L engines. The "smaller size" you noticed may be due to the bow design, and 7" less beam. Overall, I like what I have seen, and wish I could see one in person myself.

How could I forget the "pickle fork" bow, and matching bow rail. The admiral thinks they are hideous, and cannot own a boat styled like that.

Thats right, the 318 is a V335? The V315 is the old 288? or something new?
