Looking for GPS verified top speeds of the '07-'09 H200SS with the 270 hp, 280 hp, and/or 300hp motors please. Anyone done this yet? I didn't have any luck with the search function.

Please don't reply with 'I ran next to my buddies boat and he said...' or 'my speedo says...'

I'm only interested in the GPS verified top speeds.

Thanks in advance!!

If it helps,
52 mph by GPS at 5200 rpm turning a 21P HiFive
53-54 mph by GPS at 5200 rpm with the 19P 3 blade SS prop
in my 210SS with 320 hp 6.2L B1; but I do have the tower/bimini, so tons aerodynamic drag.

Besides being verified by GPS, you should understand what elevation, gear ratio, prop pitch, ambient air temp, barometric pressure, wind speed/direction, how much weight is in boat, chop on water, ect...... All of which will affect performance.
IMHO, we are talking four winns boats, if you want speed,.............

I agree the FW is capable of good speed, but if speed is what you want look into a Baja, Donzi, Formula or any type cig. boat. My H200ss with the 5.0L GXI 270HP hit 47 MPH/ GPS with what ever the factory prop was. Of course this was with 1/4 tank of gas, just me and wife and near perfect water conditions. I now have a 25' Baja with a 7.4L 310HP Merc. and it will do 53 MPH/GPS with a 23P Revolution 4 prop. I also have a 23P Mirage+ prop I have not tried yet, but am told I should see a few MPH gain, just worse out of the hole.

This link may help - covers all the H200 combos for 2008. I have found these figures to be pretty accurate for mine...

Really you put Baja in the same class as Donzi?

If you want speed get a cat or a boat with a steep deadrise and is long enough to handle your water chop.

Not in the same class no. Donzi makes a far superior boat I admit that. But Baja does make a similar design with a 24 degree hull and the hull are designed for speed and rough water. This is the only reason I grouped them together.
