I was also disappointed in the Chicago Show, much smaller than in the past with the main floor being shared with RVs. Anyone else notice that you needed to practically beg vendors for boat brochures or they were hidden out of sight under a trailer somewhere? I had to ask the FW guy for one and he gave me a 2009...what's up with that?

Sounds like we would have been just as well off at the Milwaukee show.

I agree with the lame boat show. It was nice to see some of the used boat prices and many were lower then I thought they would be , except for the overpriced Sea Rays, but the new boats were limited obviously due to the market. The Cleveland boat show used to be quite large but for the past 3 years it seem like it was half of the year prior in fact this year the IX Center was shared with the boat show and a bridal show for the first time.

didn't know this was a political forum. sounds like a few of you are down on the democRATS. and, brown did win! I'm hoping to go to the show in greenbay. probably be a small one though. i'm hoping the economy picks up, thinking of selling my house and moving to a warmer climate for extending the boating season. any ideas on wherfe to move

The bridal show has been sharing the IX Center with the boat show for at least the past couple if years. It is only for one of the weekends though not the entire run of the boat show. This year I think there was a home remodel show on the 2nd weekend.
