Well Jeff you may be looking for an OB for your next boat too seeing as how you're in Cali and any new sterndrive there has to have CAT converters....add $3000 to the price of the engine package...Direct Injected 2 strokes meet the standards without cat converters...so sooner or later the price difference between I/Os and OBs will disappear and you'll see more sport boats with them....
I guess you must be in freshwater because if you were in salt you'd certainly understand....
