Very nice and clean interior. Just realized, I cannot find any pics of mine. Wanted to show you the difference. You get more seating in the back as my engine covers sticks between the two rear jump seats.

I have woodgrain around the gauges. Looks like you have a depth gauge on the helm, previous owner put mine down in front of the cup holder. I also have the seat that lays out to a bed but the captain chair is similiar to yours (yours are nicer).

Your stereo is the same as mine was set up. It is very easy to swap out. I stuck with the sony so I would not have to change the main connector under the helm, but now realize i have to in order to add additional speakers.

I'm very familiar with the layout in the I/O version of these boats. You would be surprised how much bigger my boat feels when you are in it. The layout with just the pedestals and rear bench gives you about 4' of clear floor space accross the full width of the boat. There is certainly no issue with knee room.

I would actually prefer having a back to back lounge seat on the port side. That was the standard layout on this boat. I guess this one was ordered with the nicer flip up bolster seats on both sides.

If I ever find someone selling a lounge seat that is correct from this vintage of a Four Winns I may consider buying it. I see rigging it somehow so that I can use it or the pedestal seat depending on what I plan to do for a given outing.

I don't think I will be doing too much to the stereo for now. I have to actually get out and use the boat for a while before I know what I may want to change or add.

Well the boat got wet in Michigan today.

We brought it out to Gun Lake for a little bit. I actually had to get the trailer weighed to get it registered. So we dropped the boat in the water and left it at my dad's while I ran and got the trailer weighed.

It was really nice to be on the water again. The kids wanted to get in...it was a little too cold yet though.

The boat will easily run at 45 MPH (gps) with 2 adults and 3 young kids. I saw 47 when I was alone. With 4 adults and 3 kids it did 44.

I am pretty satisfied with the performance of the boat. It seems to want to porpoise a bit when there are a few people on the rear bench around 30 mph. I had to keep the trim almost all the way down to stop the bounce. If I sped up to about 35-40 I could trim up like normal.

I think I will need to adjust the the shift/throttle cables a little bit. It is really hard to make fine adjustments to the throttle below 30 mph. Also, reverse wasn't disengaging consistently.
