Ever hear of a lasso? Drop the loop just right, and have the other end secured to the dock and that jetskier's whole day would be ruined.

BTW - it's the operator that's the problem, not the jetski - I've had a couple myself, but still always managed to respect the rules of the waterways.

Nah.... thin piano wire at neck height would be better.

Absolutely nothing against jet skis, I use them a lot myself.

re shotguns, Compound bows and crossbows are legal in the UK without any licence and I have a rather powerful US compound bow. Whether I'd shoot a jetskier with one or not, even tw**s like that I doubt it really !

Now you got me fired up. You may be joking, but it really happens around here on the ATV and motorcycle trails, those enviro f@$%s have hurt a few riders. Happens more frequently than is ever should at many desert races or organized trail rides.

My thinking is to stand in plain view on the prow swinging the lasso. If the dolt continues his antics so close, like Darwin, I figure he's fair game. I certainly do not condone enviro-terrorist type piano wire traps, not even in an attempt to harvest said enviro-terrorist types.

Growing up rideing dirtbikes, land owners that the govt would have a 99 year lease from used to
run wires across high tension wire trails that they "owned". Thankfully this is illegal today and these
people would be doing hard time if anyone was hurt by their actions.

Bact to the thread: jet skiers overall in general terms are younger individuals that "sometimes" like to
push the envelope. Everytime i'm in my canoe it seems like they "the jet skiers" like to get as close
as possible to me, drives me crazy. I tell myself that their all not like this though.

I will sell my boat (four winns) long before I give up my dirt bike or stand up jet ski. I also do not fall into that "younger crowd"

It takes skill to ride technical single track or a stand up ski out on the lake. The boat offers a boring ride, but it does offer a nice place to sleep!!!

Ever hear of the Sierra Club, they are a very radical group that is way out in the twilight zone!!! They ruin a lot for us out door loving, motor enthusiasts.
People in this organization go to ATV/motorcycle events, besides the stringing wire across the trail, they have been know to put spikes in boards in the dark tunnels that will tear up a tire and the poor guy riding goes over the handle bars to end up landing on another row of spikes, ect.... you can search the web for there booby traps and antics. This is a group I wish gone.
They are the main group behind draining my favorite lake, Lake Powell. As well as turning much of Southern Utah (as well as entire US) into wilderness area (no motorized vehicles whatso ever). Every time I go to Moab with bike or Jeep, another trail is closed.
These mountain bikers donot pay registration fees or property taxs (boats, RV's, motorcycles) that fund the groups that maintain the use of these areas.

Sorry, enough of my soap box.

Back to the Jet Ski video. That is one idiot out of the crowd that will ruin it for everyone else. That is how it always goes. Or it was staged by those dam enviro nuts!!!!!!

I agree that it takes skill to ride dirtbikes as well as a stand up jetski and they are fun to ride. In Mass the days
of riding along abandoned railroad tracks and high tension wires are all but gone thanks to the same people mentioned
above. I definitely don't believe in any ban on any vehicle because where will it stop? I'm in my lower 40's and
love rideing jet skis and ATV's but do it with a lot more caution and courtesy than in my 20's. and teens.
