We were putting through a no wake zone and an alarm sounded. I thought it might be the battery but the boat was starting to overheat. We had planned to camp out overnight but took it home instead. I worked on it Monday checking almost the whole cooling system. I pulled the raw water pump off and found that a 1"x1" chip of paint had flaked off from the inside coating of the intake side and was restricting the flow. Got her all back together, tested it, and it was all good. Back out on the lake for a GREAT evening with the Admiral! All it cost us was a few hours of water time.
