I hope it warms up down there in the next two weeks when we are on a week's vacation in Georgia.

Vacation in Georgia means either the North Georgia Mountains or on the coast. Where are you headed?

We will be in Savannah, Tybee Island and Hinesville visiting relatives.I hope to get down to Jeckyl Island for a visit too.

We drove out to the lake for the sunset last night. By then it was a stiff North breeze, and the lake had really calmed down. 3 footers maximum. The winds did set a record at the south bouy with a maximum wave height recorded of 23 feet yesterday.

I have great memories of Savannah and Tybee Island.

Well, one of our dock lines came loose, got some scratches on the boat, nothing serious. Worse than that though, dropped my iPhone in the water....... It is now somewhere at the bottom of 14 feet of nasty brown water.

I co-oped in Savannah while going to college. Great town, didn't know a thing about boats then but one of the engineers at work always paid me to take off the starter and heat exchanger on this center console in the fall and then put them back in after having them re-built. Spent some time on the beach at Tybee. Plus some good time on River street and on the river cruise boat during October fest and St. Patricks Day.
