Wow, what a pain in the butt!!! We've had over 2ft of rain since Friday. My boat doesn't have an automatic bilge and at times I've had to go out every 8hrs to pump it out even with all the covers on! The lake is up almost the same, 2ft. Crazy stuff. Folks about 30mins away on the coast have all sorts of wind/flooding damage. I'll be glad to see this nightmare go away. I really don't want to wake up 30 minutes early tomorrow before work to switch on the pump again, but gots to do what u gots to do.

I have seen it rain less for a named Tropical Storm down in Miami it was crazy! I was actually dodging the rain since I had the boat in front of the house changing all the hoses and it was a very bad weekend to even think of bringing her home. I was thinking of dropping her in at matheson hammock and zipping to the Columbus Day regatta at Elliott Key but when I saw the weather back and forth with some pretty hectic rain I yanked the hoses and the throttle body and the alternator and put the tarp on her right before a cluster came through. It was mission accomplished as far as I was concerned I had the batteries on trickle and had some preventative maintenance items I wanted to replace off the engine, I also pulled the impellor and it was really easy to do. They are saying 30 percent chance of thunderstorms for friday and saturday not sure what the wind looks like but I really want to take her out this weekend. BTW did you hear of that man that jumped off the 65 foot yacht at the boat regatta at elliott key and was killed by the propellers? How sad my friends were there in a 36 Intrepid and they say that the man was probably really drunk and just jumped off when the yacht was moving. Not sure if that is the story they are going to release but that is what I have been told by a couple of boater friends that were there.
Here is the link on that story http://www.wsvn.com/video/player/?clipI ... ?autoStart#?autoStart I tried to give you the exact link but it's not going through but it's on page five if you go to the website.

Not sure if you have seen my money grubbing girlfriend so here she is.

Jafo - I have her sister!!! Easy to pull the impellor huh???? Your arms must bend better than mine do, cuz i had hell getting to the bottom screw (it's a no see flathead screw thats positioned too close to the housing to get a hexhead on it).....PITA - Next time i am going to run to the hardware store and replace them with phillip head style.

I didn't have a hard time removing it. I have a tiny set of tools made for removing the batteries and they worked great. I love your color scheme I wish I had friends down in Miami that had boats like mine but I really haven't seen any. I would love to meet people that would wakeboard off my boat also since I am definitely not going to kill myself trying. That is a very good idea to change them to phillips head that would make things so easy probably a five minute change.

My kiddo loves to wakeboard and kneeboard....he stays at it until his arms are too tired to hold the rope. We usually have have a couple of his buddies and make the rounds with ski's, kneeboard, wakeboard then finish up the day with tubing.

All that with some swimming and eating mixed in...only thing i wish i had on this boat that i don't have is a Perfect Pass system. Not even sure if it's something i can add to a VP....but constantly working that throttle gets tiring. Do you have that on your boat?

I've seen some that have multiple memory functions where you can program what each person prefers.
