The hull windows/portlites are not for everyone.

But there is no doubt they are gaining some acceptance here in the states. More US builders are starting to add them to their newer models.
Like the 2012 Sea Ray 410 DA.

They are very common and popular on european designed boats.

I kind of like the styling, but then everyone has an opinion...... I think it looks "sportier" than most but then you have the reduced headroom down below.

The one thing that strikes me is that it is similar in concept to the V305. More of a day boat cruiser than a liveaboard cruiser if that makes any sense. Very small galley down below, more open feeling but appears to be less storage space. Lots of emphasis on the cockpit although this one has that weird circular shaped seating. That looks like lots of wasted space in the corners.

right almost all new European boats have these kind of side windows.

Here some examples of Italian boats with new design windows.

Love the lighting the hull windows provide in master stateroom of this Intrepid 475. This boat is something special indeed, 47 footer powered by outboards !!

Guest stateroom as well.

Cap'n,
I notice your next boat has a guest berth. Is that for company from other marinas way down the lake from you? Would like a ride on this, your next boat?!? Dan
