Watching the sun come up with a cup of coffee in my hand is my absolute favorite time to be on the water! Now for the depressing part...it will 6 months till I get to enjoy that again :(

Nice pic.

That water is too calm though........someone needs to introduce a boat wake for some picture contrast. :)

Sadly, it'll be about six months more for me as well before our boat will be back in the water making "boat wake".

Mike.

Ric,
Great picture. The type of scene that you hope to see when you stay on the hook. What lake is that and do you boat on it? Dan

I like to go out on Lake Norman NC early while the water is smooth as glass but it is hard to beat the bass boats. At least the fishermen stay in one place for a long time.

The lake I live on, Lake Howell. Used my old trusty Canon 20d. The boat in my sig, the 2000 Horizon H180. It's a private lake, 99% of the time I'm the only person on it

I can almost feel the warmth....almost. Great picture! I'm hoping the winter will be shortened by my packers going all the way again. Winter gets long here if you don't have something to look forward to on Sundays!!!
