Who said you can't boat during the winter?? My wife!!

My wife loves it when I go winter boating because I take the kids and she gets to stay at home and take a break.
It rained this weekend but it was mild so it was a good time to take the kids to the boat so they wouldn't be bored at home.

And, to appease me, I smoked my first boston butt on an electric smoker and I don't think I will cook another large cut of meat any other way in the future. Very consistent and fool proof.

9 lb boston butt after about 12 hours (I cooked it for a total of 15 hours and it turned out very moist)

Another nice thing about winter boating is the kids can ride their bikes and scooters up and down the docks without being reprimanded by a certain "dock dick".

Tell her not to worry about feeling cold as you have some great ideas as to how to keep her warm. 8)

75 degrees? I can get no less then 5 girls at any given point that would die to be on the boat when it's 75 out. You're doing it wrong.

You're getting it then. I remember those post-divorced days well. Enjoy it while you can.
