The Detroit Boat Show is Feb. 11 - Feb.19th.

My wife and I use to make an effort to attend the Detroit Boat Show but have not for a number of years since the overall show shrunk significantly in size.

Has anyone attended the Detroit Boat Show this year? We are thinking about making the 2 1/2 hour drive to take in the Detroit Show this Sunday, but wouldn't mind hearing if someone has attended and could give their opinion as to whether it is worthwhile?

Thanks,
Mike.

Mike, a boating friend and I went two years ago hoping it would be a nice change from the Toronto boat show. I was really disappointed at the lack of boats and vendors. The only good thing that came of it was a two night for one coupon from MacRay Harbor who had a booth there.

Maybe it was the state of the boating industry at the time, but I will probably stick to Toronto from now on (as I did this year). Either one is two hours travel for me.

Tom

I went Thursday night, I honestly don't feel it would be worth that type of drive.

Worth it for something to do, and it was a decent show, very small, lots of pontoons!

There was a newspaper article last week about how it was supposed to be bigger this year. We haven't been in 4+ years. My wife saw some cruisers in the loading dock on here way to work two weeks ago.
