To all of you fellas out there who (like me) have brought lil' boaters into the world, happy Father's Day! I hope its enjoyable and rewarding, which means I hope you're spending it on your boat!

We attended church service this morning at our yacht club where the sermon was about leaving a legacy of the boating lifestyle for our children. Without a doubt, boating is the most family oriented hobby out there and we, as fathers, should be praised for choosing this pastime for our children. I could be driving a 7 series BMW and playing golf each weekend for what I spend on boating but dummy me would rather be with the kids.

Happy belated Father's Day to all. We skipped the boat this Sunday and went as a family to a Detroit Tigers game...we all had a blast and I was even selected to go on the field before the game to be part of the Father's Day festivities. Missed the boat...but we were still together having fun and watching a 5 - 0 victory.
