you sit around in January and February dreaming about Lake Michigan. PERFECT conditions. Lake was flat, no wind, no black flies, warm, but not hot, water temp was 72 and about as good as it gets.

They all tubed...I need a new tube. This pancake one is good for them to play on but too young to have fun behind the boat.

Nice pics, looks like a perfect day on the water. It was great to be out without the wind that has been around for what seems like eternity.

Your kids may like the rave hydro tube, which is very stable and looks like a race boat. Two can ride at a time and it's impossible to flip (I've tried after my son was old enough to handle).

We were out on Lake Michigan today as well. Beautiful conditions.

We just bought a new tube at Sams Club that sits two down inside, a Sea Doo 020. Haven't used it yet but my kids are looking forward to being able to tube "by themselves" rather than with an adult on the flat style tube we have. It was only $120, a lot cheaper that anything else we saw.

Looks like a great day! Wish we could have been out, but too many other things going on (including catching the start of the Great Race  ). Check out the Big/Super Mable tube. It's great for the younger kids. I actually had a tri-toon almost pass me pulling one last weekend. Had to kick it up a notch  the pancake tubes are great as the kids get older, but it seems you need ones they can sit down in when they are a little younger.

We have the Super Mable and my girls ( 23,21,19, 15 ) all love it. Was nice when lake was cold to ride it normally because you don't get real wet. Last weekend, we tried chariot style for first time. They said that was really a blast. Will have to record the next time, but in the mean time.

Sure, pick the perfect weekend I'm stuck in an Ice Arena helping with an ice skating competition..... Glad you had a great day on the big lake. I'm sure we will be getting out again soon.

sometimes the Lake gives you a gift...glad you were able to get out and take advantage, last year over the 4th of July we went up to Egg Harbor, the water was so calm my bow rail did not move on the horizon while cruising at 27!

Thanks for all the suggestions on tubes. Messing in the garage yesterday I found one of these...different color. Forgot I even had it. So we are good to go at least for this year.
