Really old news dude, if you rely on the Chaparral forum for this type info (where you got it), you will be way behind the curve. Plus this was mentioned several months ago on this board.

To save you the trouble of yet another Google search, you can read through this article about
the engine as tested in a new A28

This board has been really slow lately. Any other forums that are active on the off-season?

I wonder if I can fit that in my SD? :P

That Cobalt is sooo sweet....I'm not a big bowrider fan, but I would take that one in a second. Great link Cap'n, but coulda done without the "I hate ric, so i'm gonna make him look dumb" intro. Only a couple of weeks of boatin' left up here, lets all have a beer and be happy.

It's in the 90's today it's killer. Our season is just getting started*

*Florida boating season = March-April-May and October-November-December

Everything else is either too cool or too hot.

I'd love that engine in my 215. If I had 40k I would :)

We haven't had a change in temps yet in South Florida and frankly I am dying to go camping in Boca Chita but it's too darn hot. 8)

Yep. Friday is now the mid 80s. Weather man can't ever get things right.

We just picked up our new "toy" last Friday. went from the dealer straight to the campground for the weekend.
Temp was a comfortable 53 degrees outside, and 71 degrees inside

Going north to Traverse City next weekend camping, forecast calls for a heat wave of temps
approaching near 60 degrees. Can't wait !

* Note: camper does not have 6.0L 430HP, only 1 hp electric tongue jack.

Sweet! Everything you need, nothing you don't. I don't see a hitch for the boat though. :-)

Good eye Mike. Unfortunately you can't tow a boat behind a TT in Michigan. only if you have a 5th wheel camper. And our 2008 Acadia would not pull 8,000lbs anyway. But we have a plan for having the boat available when we go camping, so it should be all good.
Amazing amount of space inside these new TT's with a slideout.

Very nice. And that slide out looks like a lot of extra room.

I was not aware that they were putting slide-outs in trailers. Very, very cool. I can see something like this in our future as well. I like the overall size of this unit, how the interior space is utilized (e.g., a real bathroom and a real bedroom), along with attention paid to fuel efficiency to keep usage costs down. Plus, that electric tongue jack garners all kinds of gizmocity points. ;)

Electric brakes I assume? And is the same battery for the tongue jack used for the breakaway?
