OK. Well, you'll barely have the room to get that boat on plane on your lake.

If anyone else were looking at this boat, you'd tell them they are crazy for buying the wrong (way too small)engine, and to have fun with their dogshit slow boat.

270hp duo prop is too little for a 24ft boat?

Haha, I noticed you quickly removed the part of your post that claimed your puddle was twice as big as it actually is...

And no, that engine isn't too small for that boat. But the "old go fast ric" - from way back a few weeks ago, would have thought so...

It's 1.8mi x .6mi. Boating to me is about the destination, not getting there. I have no care to spend 1-2hrs under power.

I don't disagree. But you sure did when I posted about upgrading boats a while back. I tried to explain I didn't really care about speed and gph, because as it turns out, I boat a lot like you. But you told me how wrong I was and how significant speed and fuel economy are...

Unless your lake isn't Lake Howell or it has gotten a half mile wider since this map came out, it's not near 1.8mi wide... and the .6 is a little off too...

I don't think that troller will ever see half gauge on speedo....if you had that boat sitting next to another one with more HP which boat do you pick? You don't go faster in the stingray cause its a jumper. Remember the lesson or learn it again. Want what you buy and know what you want....my brother lives on a bigger lake that only allows electric power.....if that lake is what your buying for then get a to on for parties and buy the camper model.

I boat the St John's River all the time. The lake I live on is my "storage" lot.

I believe you have previously stated that you boat on the St Johns 2 or 3 times per year, since you have to trailer to get there. Not "All the time"........So if you upgrade to a 22 to 24 foot cuddy, your "Uncle Ben's" burner will not tow it. So you need a plan B. And planning ahead is not one of your virtues.

That's what friends are for (or uhaul). I never plan to own a truck. Why? I can rent 2-3 times a month cheaper than just an insurance payment on a truck.

As you know, what ric previously states pretty much never is with what he says today...

That lake was great and full of chicks with no need to go anywhere else a month ago...
