There's no official handlebar upgrade for the GPR hull, it's a full custom install (drilling/tapping holes, etc real pain in the butt took a few hours to it prepped). The atv mid 32in from protaper are regarded as the "best fit" for the ski from the pros over on greenhulk and is pretty much what everyone uses.

I don't believe there's a bolt on solution for any ski & requires holes to be drilled for switchgear...
Blowsion's cool, but likely double the price.
Wait until you ride it - it'll be a different ski! 8)

Yep I can't wait. Soon as I break 70 on the GPS I start modding the motor too. I want 80 by end of the summer.

I gained 200+RPM on my Horizon RS by installing a 4BBL manifold & carb'.
The boat absolutely rockets up on to plane, when compared to the old Holley 2300 (2BBL)!!!
Still need to tweak accelerator pump nozzle size and secondary float level, but she's a winner.
The little squeal when the secondaries close sounds awesome! 8)

Wow... so I went jet skiing yesterday and what was at the ramp when I was launching? That red 214 funship. I talked to the dude for a minute and checked the boat out. I decided I do not want a funship there's plenty of seating room but the freeboard is insanely low. A 2ft chop would swamp that boat. I'll just wait to get a 248.

Had a good day on the ski did 56 miles. Got home to do an after ride inspection, pushed the throttle literally 3 times and the throttle cable snapped!!!! Apparently it's under recall for that issue I'll have to bring it to the dealership this week to get replaced. Imagine it breaking 20 miles from home and having to idle the whole way! No, I'd just pull over the closest boat ramp and taxi/uber it back to my car. Still. Dodged that bullet whew!

Gotta cough up $350 to fix the broken throttle cable on my jet ski.

It's a dealer service only item, it connects to the oil pump and throttle body and requires removal of the exhaust and throttle body. Requires a bunch of adjustments and specs, including if they don't spec cable right on the oil pump it can cause oil starvation.

I mean I COULD try to do it myself, but $200 in labor is cheaper than a blown motor from not getting the oil injection adjusted right.

yes exactly if you di not know the settings then not worth messing with.. Buddy has been tinkering with skies since he was a kid. His dad has been tinkering with skies since the 80s. He and his dad are those people that not one damn thing they own can remain stock. like his truck he is building is a 99 chevy crew cab short bed 2500 4wd. (fairly rare for a crew short that year) and its getting a 2007 drama that is making around 600-650HP (not on dyne yet). swapped the 2001+ full interior and dash into the truck, 05 drivetrain. It is a bastard but has the best of all sorts of GM ford and Dodge parts.

His 32 Sea Ray he swapped twin Cummins with custom 5 blade props and it will plain off and run upper 40s like a damn rocket ship. boat has gobs and gobs of power. it is Hull limited on speed. BUT YOU GET HTE POINT.. they can't leave nothing alone.

Spent Saturday installing my KeelGuard...easier than I thought it would be and so glad I did it. While I was laying on the ground installing the guard I looked over and saw a broken wire for my lights! Spent quite a bit of time trying to fix this light in the past...it's finally working!

Went to the Havasu Boat show on Sunday...not terribly impressed very disorganized I felt. I did pick up a bag for my box anchor, and a very cool Danik Hook and awesome Anchor Pal for my slide anchor

Yesterday, I put my dock in for the season. Then I splashed the tin can. The outboard fired up and ran great on the second pull.

The ramp is a couple of days away from being ready. Weather and time permitting, I may have the Azure ready to splash in 2 weeks.

Let the games begin!!!!!!!!

The wife and I got a coat of VC-17 antifouling paint applied to our boat's underside on Sunday afternoon. Hopefully the weather cooperates and we can start the wash/wax process this coming weekend.
