My mechanic called me at 2pm and said, let's install some A/C!! Not the best day to do it cause it's Drinko De Mayo... but beggars can't be choosers.
Total time? 4 lazy hours. Hardest part? Screwing in the inverter. If only the pump was 1in shorter for a picture perfect install

Took 5 minutes to bring the inside temp from 78 to 62. In 30 minutes it was in the 50's. I kicked on automatic mode and the heat brought it up to a comfortable 74. It's currently on shore power my batteries won't be in until thursday, my father is bringing them he has two 230ah 6v spare brand new, and he's a craftsman he's going to take a template to make the enclosure. I also forgot to plumb the drip pan to the bilge, oops. Also a local place for under $100 will redo the alternator to 120a. All I need to purchase now is just some wire to make battery cables, and an isolator.
It's nearly dead silent. Once the enclosure is made I'm going to line it with dynamat. I'm going to run 2 vents. One long skinny one to my feet area in the cockpit under the helm, and one inside. Im going to track down the dark carpet used for the sides of the enclosure and going to install a corian countertop. You'll never know it wasn't factory. My broker already wants to list the boat for 26k.
