Good luck with the party TFD2001.

Looks like we are going to the lake this weekend after all. Katie asked if she stayed home from school if we were still going to the lake. Julie told her no. She decided she felt good enough for school & didn't want to miss the lake. Love that kid.

Ahhh, the Bat Boat. An LOTO staple (and favorite for some)......

Not from this past weekend, but from Labor Day Weekend.... This picture is from my boat on the Allegheny River outside Heinz Field.

6 foot seas predicted for the next couple of days...I'm pulling boat next weekend, but with rain/wind and low temps the past few days, its hard to believe we were swimming with 68 degree temp in bay last week. Luckily we are on the south side of Cape Cod, so winds North - North East = calm at the mooring.

I hear you. We were last on the boat a couple weeks ago. Been busy with kids back in school and other weekend plans since. Lake MI has see water temps drop from around 67F to 41F in those two weeks. I'm still hoping for at least one more nice cruise before we button everything up for the winter.... That said, I have all my winterizing supplies on hand. It's always a bit depressing to see another season slip by.

We thought the hurricane was coming this way so I had to pull it this week, as it turns out we lucked out and the hurricane is going to track well east of Long Island, but there will be big swells and higher than normal tides, here and in New England...
So now its OK to ask winterization questions lol....

Lou...sorry for the early end to season, but glad y'all don't have a hurricane about to smack ya in the mouth. I'm gonna try and hit the water next weekend and burn old fuel. Lake has been flooded for two months but ramps now accessible.

Well we are lucky here that the storm went out to sea, the last time I pulled it for a storm...was Sandy...epic flooding and 2 weeks with no power. Lucky we are high up because we are only 300 ft from the bay. Then a year before that was TS Irene, 4 days no electric (that's what got me to get the generator that helped us so much during Sandy).....

Been awhile again, but was trying to enjoy what was left of my summer.. Anywho, here's likely the last ones from me this year, until April... :(

Nice morning on the water

Looks like I need to do some fender work on the trailer.. She rides level, but the fenders give it a different look... Hmm

Nothing like a 1 tonne pickup to put the size of the boat in perspective

That yellow HydroSlide up at the rafters is my favorite style. Cannot get them anymore.

I got that when I was around 10 years old. It officially retired to the rafters a few years ago. Nobody interested in riding it anymore. Its all wakeboard and wakesurf nowadays.
