Mead and Powell are beautiful!
Renting a houseboat on lake Powell for a couple weeks is on my bucket list for sure.

Finally a break in the weather!
Made it up to check on the boat yesterday. Most snow I've seen in many years in northern MI. Glad we put a new metal roof on the barn last year. Snow is sliding right off. :D
Lots of stories of roofs caving in under the snow load this year.

That looks about right we still have that much snow sitting around. It's going to be a really slow melt at this pace!!!

With the weather somewhat starting to break I'm getting spring fever, so I went and booked next Friday off. I'm going to visit my 298, it's stored indoors and I really need a mental health day to do some tinkering on it. I've got all the parts and stuff collected to pull the drives and service my gimbal bearings, my Port side bearing was just starting to hum a little at the end of last year. Really looking forward to working on it!

I hit the Philly boat show today to get me revved up for spring. It was fun, but no four winns. :(
Formula 240 bowrider and Brant Calandra were my favorites by far (although both out of my league). I thought the boat show would have me wanting to trade-up, but it actually left me loving my four winns even more! We have great boats!

Typical March Sunday Funday. Temps in the high 70s.

Yep, it's the byproduct of living in such nice wonderful tropical weather. I go through a bottle of mold remover/cleaner every few weeks. That's 2 weeks of "growth", ran out of cleaner didn't feel like going to the store this weekend to get more.

The polar vortex continues here on Long Island, I got to replace a stater on our older Jeep today in the driveway in 24* weather. Its a little easier when you can feel your fingers LOL...
I kept the 07 running with the heat on full blast and I'd jump in to de-frost my fingers....glad it only took 45 min....

It's still cold in March??! We're solid 80's daily here in FL now. Cold fronts last a day if that.

One day its 25 and a couple of days later its 50. All the boats here in the marinas are still shrink wrapped, I only saw one in the water down by the local boat yard.

It was -12F here this morning.

Only made it to +12F yesterday. Made it to the 20s today. May hit 40 Wed. Then back below freezing for the next several days.

Our tops are still firmly attached.
