Ardy actually ordered chrome badged 'STINGRAY' registration numbers, but was too embarrassed to be seen on the water with them.
He changed them to an over-sized alfanumerical rego, instead...

Gidday Ric, in South Australia boat rego numbers must be 150mm or 6 inches high. The bloke who did the transfer for the name of the boat included the rego numbers in the price
