MSRP on the 265RS at the Miami show is $86,000 with trailer and 320HP Mercruiser power. Max HP is 380 with Merc or Volvo power.
Less expensive than I had thought.

In a boat this size – the beam is 8 feet, 5 inches – Four Winns is able to offer a cabin that’s more than just a stowage area. The Sundowner 265 cabin has an enclosed head with standard porta-potti, a full V-berth and a modest galley that Four Winns calls a “breakfast center.” I could see a couple overnighting while beached at a remote sandbar on this boat. The roll-down tambour door to the cabin is a space-saving feature carried over from smaller Sundowner models. There’s a mid-cabin cubby that extends below the cockpit deck but it’s intended for stowage rather than as berth space. It’s perfect for stashing sleeping bags and pillows.

320 hp should push that boat just fine, but with the new Volvo 380 all aluminum engine, that would be my choice. weighs less and complete closed cooling.
weighing 5100-5400lbs dry isnt bad either for a boat that size

did you notice that in the specs you lose a passenger when you use the Metric system.... what gives there?

That must be Frenchy's wife.

That's pretty damn funny stuff....not right but damn funny!

And here is Frenchy with a walk-thru of the S265, in a more desirable color scheme.

Looks well thought out to get best use of space....I'm left wondering where he stowed the table and base though.....nice idea with the TV......do people really get much use with the sink though?

We use the sink ALL the time on ours. I think it is a must have for a cuddy, especially if you are going to do any weekend trips. Now that we are searching for our pocket cruiser, it is one element that my wife is looking for. I say that as long as we have the aft shower and sink in the cabin, we will be just fine

Its 86,000 with the 300hp merc on the website, the VP380 puts it at 103K. Optioned out with the 380 the way I would like it the msrp is over 125k according to the FW website boat builder. None of that cool stuff they show on the video is standard.

I like it, but I dont like it 125K worth, not sure what a dealer can sell one for with that kind of msrp. Something to look at used in a couple years though I guess..

I am so glad I have a 255 Sundowner instead of a 265 Sundowner. But at age 60, I do not think I am in the target age group for a 265. Our 255 Sundowner has lots of deck space and leg room for moving around and easily seats 6 adults without including the cuddy. I think the 255 is less flashy and more adaptable to different boat uses than the 265. But the large cuddy in the 255 needs to reconfigured and stuff moved around for each different use (i.e., gear storage, sleeping, shelter from weather, head use). The 255 shines in that there is lots of room in the cuddy once you get it configured for that activity. Our 255 can either entertain many for a day cruise or overnight for two. The 265 seems to be a more convenient design that can more quickly accomplish different uses. I view our 255 Sundowner something like a Volkswagen camper. A lot of capability, can hold many people, adaptable to various uses, fantastic value, has all of the necessary amenities, and not highly impressive with many seldom used luxurious features.

The last things I need on a boat are a sun pad and a TV. Sun pads are just a massive waste of space. But I do appreciate the boat advertising that includes "the ultimate marine accessory" deployed on the sun pad. I cannot understand at all why someone would want a TV on a day boat.

I do want a head, one sink, and lots of storage space. I think FourWinns was trying to make the 265 into something between a mid-cabin cruiser and a cuddy cabin.

Yeah but there's no interior room on a 265. It's tiny much smaller than pics make it seem. Your 255 murders the 265 in terms of space and capacity. Heck, a 2005 225 sundowner is bigger.

Nothing better than drifting along, smoking cigars with a tasty beverage and watching the game (baseball in summer, football and hockey in fall). And if ya got bored kids, it will def be a plus.

Dang ric, I am very dissapointed in hearing that. The pics do make it seem spacious. Too small for even 2 to sleep?

I admit I am somewhat different in that I have never watched a football game, never watched a basketball game, never watched a baseball game, never watched a hockey game, never watched golf or any other sports on television. A friend took me to a baseball game that was a "no hitter" and I commented that how could this be a no hitter when I just saw someone hit the ball? The collective masses almost threw me over the balcony railing. Somehow they all found this no hitter terribly exciting even though no one ever got on base.

So we all have different interests and use our boats differently. Enjoy.

Two to sleep? Sure. My low roof 19ft stingray sleeps me and my gf comfortable and im 6'1. The kind of room a 26ft boat should have? No way. Its only 1ft longer and 1ft taller in the cabin. I cant even sit up I gotta slouch. The 2004 205 sundowner I almost purchased hands down was bigger. You can sit 4 at The table comfortable in a 205. The new 265 only sits 2 inside. It has a cabin identical to my buddies 23ft velocity speed boat.
