Only took 2 hours to get the camper canvas on with a buddy. I think it was the first time ever installed. I'll leave it on for a few days to get stretched out and flat. All the zippers were stuck took a lot of wd40. One slider broke but I saved the broken one so I can visit a craft store tomorrow to find something comparable, no big deal. My broker "purchased" the boat and is "selling" it to me. Since he just sold my boat for more money and I'm "buying" another from him, I don't have to pay sales tax just registration.
Boat purrs like a kitten. It's like driving a mini yacht compared to the Stingray. So stable. So quiet. First thing I do is upgrade the radio, it's garbage. I have a few ideas for the AC install, I might take 1ft of cabin "seat" space by my buddies feet are and put it there. The enclosure will be the perfect height to act like a mini bar, and above that on the main back wall, the 22" tv. It won't steal any people space cause the TV is going there anyways. 220hp v8 is perfect. Gets on plane very flat and smooth like my H180 did. Cruises on plane at 2400 without breaking a sweat. Plenty of power.
Feels good to be in a real boat again. Driving tonight made me realize how much garbage that thing really was. Overall very happy with my purchase. Back before I purchased my stingray it was one of 3 models I vowed to purchase. Four Winns 205, Monterey 228sic, or Chaparral 215. I put an offer on a 215 for 18,500 last summer and the guy didn't take it and it wasn't in this good condition. Now I got one for much less!

My buddy. Look at all that room!
