I'm just kidding, I'm not at a point where I could buy that. I need a house. Who knows maybe in 4 months it will still be forsale.

Depending on what you buy ric, and what condition its in, buying a house will cure you of any desire to spend more money on a boat. If you have not owned one yet, home ownership has exciting new opportunities for massive money spending. That's why I kept the old one....boat that is...I like having a paid off mortgage....

I've owned a house before. I'm just aiming for a townhouse in the community I live in now, I like the lake life. I've done kitchens up quite nice with buying pre-made cabinets/countertops at Lowes, "open box" SS appliances at the local discount places, fake wood laminate flooring, and shopping at Ikea. Doesn't cost much at all to have something magazine quality. $500 at Old Time Pottery can decorate the whole house.

That's insane. It's what Rick dreams about at night. Fully optioned 268 with an 8.1 liter engine. One day I hope I find another when I'm ready.

Hey I've got a clean 278 with and 8.1 and every option plus a bunch of extras. If I wasn't so hooked on towing her to see her sisters on Lake Michigan I'd consider selling. You'd need a spot more than $40K for my '08 though.

I've got a scale ticket at home from when I weighed mine. I think around 8500lbs. My 04 Durango would pull it around on flat land just fine, the Ram 2500 would pull it with no issue.

Saw that one, from the ad:

However, again due to lack of use, maybe even neglect, she carries a number of cosmetic issues as well. Buyers are strongly encouraged to check with their POP associate for a more complete and up-to-date list of needed work.

Anytime ya gotta "call" for a list of problems, ANNND there is no pics of the engine/bay. Run away.

If you're asking me my boat came it at 9,680 with about half tank of fuel. I pulled it to Petoskey which is a little over 500 miles and I had it full of fuel and food so I was over 10,000 for sure.

Forget the house... you live in Florida! Go for a bit larger a boat and live on that!

A 30-35ft sedan bridge style boat would make a great liveaboard and cruiser.

Absolutely. Keep a small affordable apartment for "permanent residence" and mailing address, and those days when you just need to get off the boat, then enjoy the rest of your time as a live-aboard.

Not sure if that fits into the kind of lifestyle you are looking for (hard fit for marriage, kids, etc..) but it could easily work.

I lived on my boat for two months the first summer I had it. Loved every minute!
If I lived in FL I would definitely consider it. Although I did find out that a lot of marinas don't allow live aboards.
