When I stay all-inclusive in Mexico, I'm pretty happy. But that might just be the alcohol. :?

I buy mine on the ocean. No lakes out here!

But its about 50 to 60cents more. A lot of the fuel dock are now using Valvtech fuel. Meaning that it is designed for marine gas engines.

We are talking about fuel prices in this thread. From every experience I have buying fuel all over this country taxes are included in the price advertised on the pump.

Sure, there are some additional federal taxes included in the price of fuel, however:
Income taxes are not included. Property taxes are not included, etc. In some countries, there is no income tax, but instead they use Value Added Tax in the price of their products. Please re-read my original comment. I was stating that 30% or so of our income is already taxed away before we go to make purchases, including fuel.

Price comparisons are not apples to apples when comparing an income tax country to a value added tax country. That was my point...and I'm not saying that one is better than the other.

I used to trailer and fill at the street pumps, but now that I don't I use multiple 5 gallon gas jugs. IMO they are the easiest to carry down hills and such, especially 1 in each hand. The most important thing to have is the Flotool siphon shaker. This will unload a 5 gallon can into your boat in about 90 seconds. It amazes me how many people actually try to hold the gas can while filling up... what a pain.

Just filled up at a local marina, $4.79 for 93 octane.
