I saw a beautiful black 240 Horizon and something a bit smaller with a nice big outboard this afternoon. Some more people are going to be happy soon!

I did. I'm still in awe. Fri night we actually got to spend a few short hours on the lake. After we got home and it was late I went back outside to look at it in the driveway, just to make sure it was real. I got a few pic's but not as many as I anticipated with all the excitement. I kind of got everything situated in it on Sat and took it to the storage place we're keeping it at. (expecting bad weather monday and tues) I'm at work today, so I'll post some up as soon as I get a chance from home. Hope to take it out again next Fri if we have decent enough weather.

Great news!! I must say I am jealous; ours is due in any day but once it does arrive it will be a month or so before it can get it wet. Can’t wait to see you photos and good luck with her.

The outboard may have been one of the Wellcrafts' they are building in Cadillac lately.
The larger Wellcrafts are still built in Florida.

Impulse,
Will the tongue swing away fully with the spare mounted that far forward?
I noticed the '08s have this placement.

It's just bolted on, but if you move it, there may be some nasty indentions from the u-bolts.

Brent - That's exactly right. The tongue hits the spare and it is just bolted on so I'm certian their are some gouges in the paint if I were to remove the bolts. The other side isn't really a good option either with the wheel jack there. It's really not an issue anyway, you can fold it way past 90. If you wanted to cable lock it to the frame or something for security, it may be a bit of a pain.

Looking forward to your pic's Bob.........hang in there, I know I was going absolutly bonkers the week mine came in.
